OK, so they were beaten horribly again... but they are so cute who cares! Our team is now playing actual games, instead of just practice. It's so funny to watch them against a more well-oiled team. But, Monkey Boy managed to hit the ball.. and that was GREAT! Although with everyone yelling 'go' or not or whatever they were yelling.. he ran around 1st and stopped.. then started towards 2nd. I guess you can't do that.. and he was tagged out. Ach well. He hit it!! You can see the swing in these 3 photos.. and the 2nd photo you can see the ball flying on the left near the top corner.
Then the coach had him play catcher. He has never played the position, and has no idea how to do it. But, he did a great job for a first timer :) Although, since he had his hand in the front, he managed to get hit on his right hand and it's all red now. Poor little man was crying under his big ugly green helmet.. but trying to be all tough. Boys don't cry... blah. I'd be out there lying on the ground crying demanding an ambulance!!
